I went out this afternoon with Margaret from the North Lambeth Housing Office and the police teams from Princes and Oval looking for hidden weapons. Wary of being caught in possession of a knife or gun people hide them in public places. The police conduct regular searches to keep these dangerous weapons away from the considerable harm they can do. And with careful searching we found a knife hidden under a bush.
It wasn’t huge but quite big enough to kill or seriously injure someone.
So next time you go out have a look around you and if you spot something call the local police.
