Thanks to Jason for a trip round the Trust this morning. A real eye-opener. So much has been achieved and with a 125 year lease from Lambeth a great future ahead. This is part of what was once Beaufoy School for boys and then Lilian Baylis Comprehensive. There are now facilities that can support lots of different parts of the local community at a variety of sports an activities. The new outdoor trail includes facilities for wheelchair users and for those of a pugilistic bent a second boxing ring opens soon. The day I visited there was a government minister lending his support to a cricketing initiative! There is also a nice looking café for those needing a break. Hoping for over-60’s football sessions soon!
